Discovering the secrets of Rome has never been so exciting! WelcomeToRome is an exciting “time machine” where visitors can dive into 2,700 years of history of the Eternal City and witness its transformation from a humble village into the bustling city we know today. Holograms, self-propelled plastics and interactive displays accompanied by a narrative voice-over mingle with superb video projections in this once in a lifetime, fun-filled initiative aimed at illustrating the origin of Rome’s most iconic monuments with scientific rigor, yet in a passionate, engaging and spectacular way.

The visit is enriched by four experiences with self-propelled plastics dedicated to the construction of St. Peter, the story of Castel Sant’Angelo, the construction of the Roman Imperial Fora and the description of the Forum of Augustus. It will be possible to listen to the narration in eight different languages (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese), while the enchanting projection, dedicated to the history of Rome, lasts 30 minutes.
