Music, Art and Food in the heart Of Baroque Rome. Participants will comfortably listen to the diverse musical styles of th 17th century, performed with the period original instruments, surrounded by the baroque sculptures, the frescoes and marbles of Sant’Agnese in Agone. The Borromini Sacristy and the whole Church will be exclusively reserved for this event.
Sant’Agnese in Agone is considered the jewel of Roman Baroque architecture. Located in the middle of Piazza Navona, one of the most famous urban spaces of the Eternal City, the church was built for the Pope Innocenzo X Pamphilj by the architects Girolamo and Carlo Rainaldi and Francesco Borromini. Sant’Agnese in Agone hosts frescoes and sculptures of artists like Ciro Ferri, Baciccia, Ercole Ferrata, Antonio Raggi.
