The Casina delle Civette (House of the Owls), a magnificent piece of surreal architecture built in the middle of Villa Torlonia, is home to the first solo exhibition by Italian artist Walter Guidobaldi. The display showcases an original selection of 50 fantasy works made of marble, bronze and terracotta. Better known as Wal, Guidobaldi is famous for his tiny and monumental sculptures featuring mischievous cherubs and animals such as owls, cats, rabbits, piglets and penguins.
