THE PINE WHERE JULIUS CAESAR DIED

The exact spot where Julius Caesar was assassinated has been meticulously reconstructed by historians. The site is located in the archaeological area of Piazza Argentina, close to the famous theatre, where the Curia of Pompey and the Roman Senate used to have their seat. The place of death of the great condottiero is now home to a magnificent pine tree.
