The Genti e Paesi cultural association presents a ghost-themed itinerary that has always generated great interest in the Roman audience and tourists. The visit lasts about 2 hours and features the appearance of 4 actors who will put on scene some short theatrical plays inspired by Rome’s historical characters. The ghosts will appear in the following places:

  • Piazza Farnese – Cagliostro
  • Ponte Sant’Angelo – Beatrice Cenci
  • Piazza di Pasquino – Pimpaccia
  • Locanda della Vacca – Piazza Campo dei Fiori – Pope Alexander VI (Rodrigo Borgia)

The event takes place between Piazza Navona, Piazza Campo de ‘Fiori, Piazza Farnese, Via del Governo Vecchio, and the amazing Bridge of the Angels on the footsteps of the unfortunate Beatrice Cenci. The protagonists of the trip are not just fountains, churches, and palaces of Baroque Rome but mainly female and male legendary figures, tragedies and coup de théâtre that will transform the Italian capital of art and culture into a theatrical stage where the appearance of actors will evoke unreal atmospheres. The intriguing Pimpaccia, the infamous Alexander VI Borgia, Cagliostro and his wife, the sorcerer Lorenza, the haunted palace of via del Governo Vecchio are part of the spiritual topography of Mysterious Rome delivered to eternal beauty thanks to a long history of triumphs and of decadence, of lights and shadows.
